Happy Momma`s Day !

Happy Mother`s Day ! I love my Momma, eccentric, loving, funny, creative and artsy woman! I`m pretty sure she is where I get my creative side from and i`m forever grateful. There are so many reasons why I love my Momma. She does not care if I call and wake her up, she `s always available and she`s always managed to help me out. I love her laugh and her crazy ways. She`s unconventional and I love her for that. I loved when we were little she was at everything, always involved. She would chew me out like no one else. I love her, she is special. I miss you and wish I could see you today Momma! (My Chanel Girl)

Daddy`s girl..

This man has been on my mind.. I love him and miss him dearly, doesn`t seem like thirteen years has passed that i`ve seen him or heard his sweet voice. Death is final. It sure is hard to swallow. I look in the mirror and I see his smile in mind. Funny enough I have his thumbs and his feet. I loved this man all my life. No one will ever measure up. I gave up on looking for that. We all have a void in our lives and sometimes we try to fill that void. I give up. There is no one like him. Never will be..

home is where the barn is..

I would love to have a barn, a place where I could make it look really cool. Maybe mix it up a bit, throw in a chandelier , funky couch, and lighting.. and of course a huge farm table to eat the most freshest of food. A place to have friends over, music playing in the background.. a lil` bit of urban meets farm look. dirt floor and all.

DAYDREAMING ~~~~

Ahhh Good ol` School days.. Studying madly for mid terms. I can`t help but daydream a lil`.. I would love the build me a loft like home for out in the country, I think I would grow tired of the hustle and bustle of the city. I dream of a balcony attached to the back, with curvy metal around it, Metal chairs , vintage tables, white denim fabric hanging for privacy.Dining Al Fresco would be amazing..

The front would be modern, simple, maybe just some cute house numbers, Simple framed windows, lots of glass.. The inside. Concrete floors or black wood wide plank, open shelving in the kitchen, stainless steel vintage look fridge, huge open island, window behind the sink.Huge glass canisters all labeled in white, huge open pantry. I would love to have moveable walls where you could make a room open or cozy. Simple decor of whites, browns, khaki and light teal. Claw foot tub and subway tile in the bathroom. Metal walls, maybe a chalkboard wall in my office or kitchen. Long hallways with family pictures hanging. Small bedroom with huge comfy bed piled high with down comforters, Huge chunky dresser, Open closet space. The backyard would have beautiful St. Augustine grass and a New Orleans style courtyard. A small veggie garden to the side. A small barn in the back for horses. Maybe a few head of cattle. I would love to have some walking trails, and even a few Hens (Dominickers) for fresh eggs and last but not least a lil ` Jack Russell named Beckett to roam the halls in the house and to run freely on the land. This is for sure what I want...

Cut Loose ~

Really in the mood...to strike out and be a gypsy girl in one of these. Decorate it all in whites, Good tunes, and a map to where i`m headed next. I have such an inner Gypsy ready to take on anything.. ah.. where should I go ?
